Recently, on occasion my puck sticks to the dispersion screen. It is not overdosed - just 14 grams - a nice looking and tasting shot. Has this happened to you? Any recommendations? I see on HB a suggestion for other machines that it's the 3 way valve sucking the puck up at the end of the shot. That was my guess too but still - it can create a mess. What shall I do?
Thanks.

Re: puck sticking to dispersion screen
I had the same issue with 15g dose and it went away once i moved to 16g. I also think it is the 3-way valve. I have the pre-infusion chamber that releases some extra water with the valve click which may amplify the issue. Try this: after releasing the portafilter from the group, do not pull it down immediately but wiggle it a bit left and right then forward and backward - just slightly so that the puck can fall back into the portafilter.

Thanks, I'll try that. I have the pre-infusion chamber too.
