Plumbing tip

You might have thought of this, but just in case . . .

I hesitated to purchase my S1 due to the need to plumb it. Not that I have it, of course, I am thrilled to not have to add water anymore.

Rather than drill thru our countertops (vetoed by significant other), I ran the line thru the wall just behind the countertop. I used plastic pipe to create a path for the feed line. Below the counter, where it does not show (back of the cabinet) I placed a relatively large hole to allow me to fit the plastic pipe. The meant that above the counter I could cut a precise hose using a hole saw on a drill.

Here it is. (We tiled after the hole was drilled, by the way)

And I'll wager you saved some of the tile in case you ever want to hide the hole and sell the house.
