6 month old Dream leaking

I've purchased this machine from CCS this past March. It's a La Spaziale Dream (rotary, plumbed). It all of the sudden started to form puddles underneath the machine, and upon inspection, it seems the golden brass metal piece (valve?) is leaking from the top screw. See attached pics.

I already have an email out to CCS, but was wondering if anyone knows about what this piece is, and why would be be leaking?

This is the sensor for the volumetric dosing. If you can't stop it by tightening that screw a little bit it sounds like you'll need a new sensor. Fortunately, it's under warranty.

So, it turns out the leak was due to a crack on the teflon tubing (the one closest to the camera). It was up above. I replaced the tube, and it fixed the tube leak. As I was in there, I turned on the machine with the covers off to confirm leak was gone, and indeed it was gone on the tube.

However, as I was in there I notice yet another leak! What is this golden piece?

That part is the expansion valve. It will pop open any time the group boiler exceeds 12 bar which is apparently does when the steam boiler cycles but just enough for several drops to come out each time.
