What pressure shows on the gauge? Have you tried adjusting the pump pressure?

Line Pressure shows on the display 2 to 2.4 bar and at this pressure Has been working well for the last seven months.
Yes I also tried to re adjust the pump pressure but the real problem is that the pump is not active at all
I was back flashing after drinking coffee when the pump suddenly stopped and a " Low pump pressure " message appeared on the display.

More questions...

1) How long did it work right before it failed? i.e. is it still under warranty?

2) Can you pull hot water so that the pump runs to refill the steam boiler? if not, it's likely to be the pump motor or the pump has seized.

3) If you press the one-cup or two-cup buttons does the 3-way solenoid click. If not, it's probably not the pump or the motor.

4) If you disconnect the collar that attachs the pump to the motor can you rotate the pump by hand?
You may actually have to diconnect both water lines and remove the pump to gain access to the pump shaft.
That will tell you if it is the pump. Also, if you diconnect them and then try to pull a shot you should here the motor running.

Im getting the low pump pressure alert now too

1) out of warranty - been working the last 2+ years.
made a nice cappuccino last night.
today however …..

2) Boiler refills but I don't hear the pump kick in. sounds more like water squirting into the boiler.

3) I hear a slight/quiet click after preinfusion but don't know if that is the 3-way or not.

4) haven't disassembled. is that the only way to tell pump vs motor?

I've disassembled and the motor working fine. So pump it is. what makes the pump go bad? How to improve the longevity? 2.5 years seems short.

Have you tried manually rotating the pump shaft? If it turns relatively easily, the pump should be fine.

Of course, if the motor is running properly when disconnected from the pump, that pretty much points a finger at the pump.

Are there signs that the rear pump seal has been leaking such as mineral build-up?

If you need to rebuild the pump and want to try it yourself, here is an excellent post:
