What does part 7953 actually do?

Post by fade2greyuk »

Hi

Still on a slow mission to get my s1 all sorted. Found that the small circuit board under the steam boiler which I believe is part number 7953 has been bypassed. Presumably it has a purpose - what does it do?

Any idea on how much a replacement it?’ & how it should be connected? Might be the next thing I tackle.

Cheers
A

A couple of borrowed pics (neither mine as I’m not near it at the mo)

Circled is the part I’m talking about.

Talking to Chris coffee they’ve never seen it before on their machines so presume it’s something uk/euro - it’s been bypassed (ie there but not connected) and the machine seems to worm. Confused :)

The parts manual refers to it as a power line filter. I have never seen this board on a US 110V LaSpaziale either.

Hi Chas - hmmm good news is that the machine seems to
Work without it. Have emailed a few places to try to
Workout what the impact of it not being connected might be. Very odd.
