Empty Water Tank Light--Difficulties

Post by BayGuy »

I am a new owner of a S1 Mini (Lucca version). I have had problems getting the Empty Water Tank alert to turn off, even though the water tank is full. It often requires removing then inserting the tank multiple times in order to get the light to turn off to allow the boiler to begin filling. Each time I insert the tank, it feels as though it is 'seating' correctly--there is nothing that I can see or feel that indicates the tank is incorrectly placed. Sometimes it can more than 5 attempts before the empty water light turns off. When I finally do succeed, I have not been able to discern why that particular 'insertion attempt' resulted in the Empty Water Tank alert light finally turning off. I'd appreciate any help from members of this forum.
