Steaming Milk

Post by TBrew »

Can members offer their techniques for steaming milk. Initially with the machine I could get wet paint easily but now I'm getting a lot of small bubbles. I can knock them down to some extent but the texture is not what I want. I use cold skim milk and a cold pitcher. I've tried multiple positions for the wand and pitcher, and multiple depths. I introduce air until the pitcher gets warm. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thx!!

Ive seen the same thing from time to time. Its usually that I steam to long or the milk is not fresh enough.
