So I managed to resolve this issue. It turns out the wire to the fill probe might have had corrosion on it. I stripped more of the shielding from the cable to ensure better contact with the screw and now the machine is no longer over filling.

Did you find a fix for this problem? I’m having it also. In the past changing the orings on the water intake helped but it’s now come back.

This issue is very intermittent. It went away for a while but is now back again. The brown wires were indeed reversed. Brew boiler is now switching on and when at temp the steam boiler switches on as expected and then stops when it gets to temp.
