Re: Flowmeter or solenoid click? HELP

I can't hear the pump/motor in the video. Is the pump spinning? Is the motor spinning without the pump? Having had a similar problem it was my pump sized. The flowmeter would more likely cause inconsistent pulls. I've had that happen after descaling. Had to open it up and remove a stuck piece of loo...

Has anyone modified there Dream or Dream T so that the drip tray LEDs are on when the display is bright (ie your using the machine)? The auto setting only lights the LEDs during the shot pull. thanks for the charts it looks like your setpoint temp was 201F? is that correct? the chart rise over "very long" pulls kind of fits with what I see from the boiler panel temp rising over the pull. If would be helpful if you knew how your display panel temps changed but that's ok. the end ...

Temp Drop

While pulling a 2oz warming shot I see the temperature drop 17F,
When I pull my espresso shot the drop is less, ~9F.
The temp is from the readout on the Dream display.

Is this amount of drop normal?
Do I have a problem?
Is there something I should be doing differently?

IDK if you gaggia portafilter is the same size, but would think with the 53mm the deeper puck might need a looser grind.
Try it and see how it tastes?
You probably need to teach it what your normal is too (once you get it dialed in), so that it can report when your low or high.
