Plug to the left of the group head.

Post by mmg »

I have noticed that, if you open the front or the top of the machine, right at the group head, opposite to the solenoid connector there is another connector that has been plugged and sealed with teflon tape.
Is this actually just a plug or does it have a specific function? I was thinking of adding a pressure sensor and that could be very convenient.

That's where you plug in the optional Timer.

Are you also talking about this one? I can't figure out how you would plug the timer in here.

I thought you were talking about the electrical plug. You were actually talking about the mechanical "plug" aka 5mm brass nut.

Thanks Chas, for being helpful and more precise than I was :D
Somehow I forgot about the preinfusion chamber. It seems like a good location to get a grouphead pressure reading.
