Blinking, but not turning on

My s1 mini has been out of action due to tank seals becoming a bit leaky. I've just replaced but it isn't powering up as it should. Standby led is blinking and when I unplug and power back on three yellow LEDs flash once. Is there any simple thing I can check?

Everything you stated is appropriate functionality up to the point that your story ended. The three yellow lights mean the dual mode controller board is in VII mode. Is that correct or should it be in V1 mode? The easiest way to tell is whether your front panel temperature increments are 1C(V2) or 5C(V1).

I didn't explain that properly did I :)
I'm pushing the on/off button for 10+ seconds but I'm getting no response. Do buttons break or is there any reset I can do?

We have lift off. After lots of increasingly firm button pressing it lives :)
