How do I remove the steam wand tip? It's very hard. Anticlockwise or clockwise?

I assume that the steam arm is the same on the mini as my VII. The steam tip is not reverse threaded. It should just unscrew if you turn it counterclockwise (to the left) as you look directly at the tip.

Good luck...

They can be difficult to remove since milk gets into the thread and dries solid from the heat. I couldn't find a wrench that would fit (Metric or SAE) so I had to use a large adjustable wrench to remove it. Just be sure you tighten up the adjustable wrench super tight since the wrenching flats on the tip are very small so the wrench can slip easily.

I now just tighten the tip by hand and leave it like that. It doesn't leak much due to the o-ring, and you can remove it much easier that way.

I chnage tips a LOT these days.

Don't diss the toothpick technology!

What would be really cool is a jet that would change brooming angle and flow rate when you twist it (like a mini garden hose). I may have to talk with "Daniel the Swiss tip machinist" and see if he can make me one.

I have some two hole tips that won't take a wrench but the 3 and 4 hole tips all work with a 12mm open-end wrench

12mm is too loose on mine. Just spins. Another case of crappy quality. The tips must be made by the same joker that makes the baskets.
