Mazzer Major Grocery model

Any one have any info on this model. Much cheaper that the Major E. Can it be used as a Doserless grinder. Brand new $865

Of course it can!
The Major is a very good grinder with the large 83mm flat burrs. It has a very particular taste profile. Very different from the large conical.
In my opinion, it is one of the best single dose grinder I have ever used; Fast and Consistent . That being said the grocery model will not let you brush the chute so you will have to do a purge shot at the beginning of your session.
There is a thread going on H-B about retrofitting the funnel on the grocery model. You could ask more info from that guy.
