Espresso Parts - PF Warning

Post by chas »

Don't purchase a replacement Portafilter or Portafilter handle from Espresso Parts to use with an existing PF Handle or Portafilter, respectively. The thread pitch on their 3rd party replacement parts is not the same as that used on the factory LaSpaziale PFs.

If you purchase a replacement portafilter with handle from them, then there is no problem.

You mean to tell me that the thread pitch can be even farther off than what it is directly from Spaz??

I assume you're talking about the thread pitch on the spout. That's pretty typical. I can hand tighten my single spout one full turn and the double spout almost two full turns.
