Scaled or whatever

Post by Chura »

Hi,

Just opened my 1 year old V1S2 machine, for overall clean.
I do clean it and use Cafiza once every 2 months, Use 8L razin softener and inline filter.
Water are soft, you can see the second image for sink water and machine water.

now, the valve in there is no the 3way (3way is next to it). this valve it driping every 5-10 second while the machine is on.
is it ok to be like that ? Am i doing something wrong ?

Thanks!

I have never used my machine yet but I have torn it apart:) Since no one has answered I will throw in my 2 cents. Since there is scale/deposits on the end of the valve that is dripping, the expansion valve, it very well may be that your valve seals have junk on them and are letting water pass by. If you look at this page from Cafeparts.com you will see the entire expansion valve assembly, #25, or the seals 24, 27 and 30, in the lower left corner. I bet if you take it apart there will be junk in there that you should be able to clean off. You probably do not even need new parts as the o-rings are Viton and last a long time.
