Dosing ring/funnel
Any recommendations? What size fits best? I measured with a plastic vernier caliper, and got 53.7 mm portafilter basket ID, so maybe 53.5 mm?

Re: S1-V2 - Safety Valve failed (again)
I may be wrong here, but it seems to me that the safety valve should never pop unless the boiler is being over pressurized. Have you tried lowering the boiler temperature? What's the quality of your water? Scale in the boiler could plug the valve and cause it not to reset when it pops.

Re: Water leaking out through the grouphead
Is it leaking around the outside of the portafilter basket? My triple basket bottomless portafilter was doing that. I just had to tighten it a little more. Make sure the shower screen and area around it are clean, and the lip of the basket and portafilter has no coffee grounds on it.

Hot water tap
Getting a lot of spitting and sputtering when I use the hot water tap; probably a lot of steam mixed in with the hot water. Is this normal?

Re: setting two-cup timer for 28 seconds
Never mind, got it figured out. After turning on the machine, I had to hold down the ON/OFF button for 3 secs to get into programming mode.

Re: setting two-cup timer for 28 seconds
Sounds like you need to read this manual: V2 Mini Owners Manual FYI, there is no way to disable the volumetric dosing. If you want to manually control dosing, program a button for more water than you'll ever need, then press the button while running to turn off the flow. Calling it a timer is incor...

Re: setting two-cup timer for 28 seconds
Newbie here. How can I reset the double shot timer? How can I manually start and stop the flow? I'm using a gram scale and want 34g of coffee in a cup. The timer currently stops the flow short where I want.
