Re: Steam Boiler Inlet Leak (Dream T)

Got to pulling it off and actually it is a swivel joint but for the life of me I can't see how it was assembled, maybe a press fitting with an o-ring. The bottom o-ring was dried out but in no way does it seal or put force on the middle section. Calling around I found a shop that had similar fitting...

Steam Boiler Inlet Leak (Dream T)

Hi, My steam boiler fill inlet elbow (#9824) seems to be leaking at the swivel joint. I'm hesitant to remove and inspect in case resealing becomes worse as there are no parts locally. Will need to order. Does anyone know how they seal? would teflon tape help since it's at the swivel part? Or should ...

Re: how do you use the 4 custom profiles on your Dream

I've never use the shot volume as I always weigh the output. Finally ungraded to a Lunar and love the response time and auto timer (simple to see the infusion time vs pull time now)... sure people complain about the cost but it's a sweet device. I use to dose 18g and now settled on 16g with an IMS b...

Re: Losing Brew Pressure!

Update on my end; loosing brew pressure continued to randomly occur until this weekend where it would ramp up and them go back down to about 2-bar with the blind basket continuously. Checked that it was getting 120v and then pulled the pump and dissembled it (super easy, 2 screws, twist and pull the...

Re: Losing Brew Pressure!

Any updates on this? I've had this happen a few random times on my Dream T. I removed the water filter years ago. Randomly part way through the brew, say @ 10-15 seconds the pressure drops and the pump becomes much quieter. I stop the shots, checked with the blind basket and it holds 9.5 bar just fi...

Re: Very close to Vivaldi II

Not sure if you got something yet? Maybe a little more info on your goal? Temp stability, steaming, double boiler, faster back to back drinks, or just plain better in the cup? Sometimes having local service is more important, so what machines are available near you? Why the Vivaldi and not the Dream...

Pulling shot and cuts out after steaming on 15a mode

I've encountered the same issue twice now where after steaming i pull a shot and a few seconds in and it cuts out for a second or two and then kicks back on...but then shot ruined. Running 15a mode. Is this the boiler taking priority? I've stopped the boiler right after steaming and haven't seen the...

Re: Flashing Power Button on Dream T?

Good to know. Thanks for the confirmation. I'm surprised how little information is out there on this model so far. I'm glad there is a dedicated site for these machines.

Flashing Power Button on Dream T?

Hi, First time owner of a new Dream T. I have the timer set to turn on/off each morning, but when the machine is "off" the power button flashes. Is this normal? Is it just indicating that its on "stand by mode"? I find it annoying, but I guess I'll just get used to it. Oh and it ...
